Hi, all...I'm new to this tribe, but I really do see lots of stupid shit and stupid people (and not just because I live in West Virginia, but it probably doesn't hurt).
So I'm watching TV today, and I saw a commercial for "Cheese Crumbles." I guess this is for when a cheese cube is way too big, but shredded cheese is just too damn small??!! WTF?!
Who the hell is buying Cheese Crumbles? My theory is that Kraft has begun selling this product as a way to make money off the shit they'd normally throw away. I'm guessing "Cheese Crumbles" is a euphemism for the crap they scrape out of the bottom of the vats at the end of the shift.
Anyone else seen any products that struck you as stupid?

Here in my home town there's a place where you can get the same type burgers I got when I was a kid. It's changed owners twice but they knew what a good thing was and didn't mess with it. The only thing they did was expand to where they have a table room besides the counter. Prices have risen but the food stayed consistent and/or got better.My favorite 'greasy spoon' so to speak. The fry cook is a guy I grew up with.
The point I wanted to make, before I wandered, was, if it works don't fix it.
And 'word of mouth' is the best marketing there is. -
