What the fuck is "brown salad?" Not something I'd ever eat.

        Brown Salad? WTF?
I wonder about what kind of drugs were involved and how much?
I can envision old lettuce and spoiled dressing and shit like that - doubleyuck!
        Ghack!
Something you might find in a fridgadator that was unplugged for a week or three.

          This morning I woke up.
          I felt a pulse.
          It was mine.
          Today is a good day.

Well, I agree with you there 100%.
BUT - Did you have any 'brown salad' for breakfast, perchance?

I refuse to think of this as a disgusting, brown rotting pile of lettuce.

I prefer to think of a brown rice salad. I make it with a wild rice mixture, add sliced fresh tomatoes, green peas, chopped onion, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

That's what I'm picturing!! Poking fingers in ears, closing eyes and singing loudly, "La la la la la la la la!"

Now, that's more like it. I've changed my mind. I will have the "Brown Salad". But make sure there is a pea in the bottom of my beer bottle.

Why is there a pea in the bottom of the bottle???????????????????? Did they mean "pee"?

Wait, Alisa. There is a pea in your recipe. Can there be a connection?
Snert, I once played in a band called "Creamy Caesar."

James, I'm In a band called 'The Noisy Bunch of Idiots'.
As a fatter of mact, I'm the only band member, but I do have a lot of groupies. (I almost said 'gropies'). The ones that aren't under 12 are over 60. Such is life.
Brown salad? What's next, blue pickles? Black milk? Pink peanut butter?
I think I'll quit while I still can.

I haven't had a brown salad, but I've had plenty of brown sandwhiches, never before mid day though.

My grandma used to make brown green beans, but that was from cooking them all day with bacon and ham hocks. And she used to make that wilted lettuce salad, which also involves bacon grease. (yes, she grew up in the south...)

But somehow I don't think that this person was writing about those dishes.

I reread the post several times I'm still not sure what was said.
My first wife was an Alabama girl and she turned me on to a lot of southern style dishes. I'd never tasted real grits before. Somebody said if you smear some on your forehead your tongue will know you silly gettin' them. I believe it.

I seriously think there were drugs involved. Good drugs and a lot of 'em.
